You said you lost weight in your thighs but also said you gained muscle. I want my thighs to be very lean and have NO fat. I don’t even care about muscle definition on them. I need my legs to be strong but I don’t want them muscular looking. I need them to be strong because of all the work I do, but I don’t want them looking big and bulky. Ive heared things of all sorts like thighs are determined by genetics or how hard you work them or how you don’t. I want just enough muscle to lift what I need in my legs. Upper body? Sure, bring on the muscle! What should I do to avoid bulky thighs and lose the most fat possible? Should I work them harder? Longer? Less? Strech them? I really have no idea. You’ve said that people notice the most results there, id like to see results there but not the muscular bulky look at all. Thanks for your help. P.S. Ive tried high knees, stretching and squats but nothing seems to be working.
nina July 4th, 2013 Near Me I have been a member of WOW now since fall 2012. In that time I have really come to love this gym. First, you can’t beat the price! $10/ mo or $20/ mo with classes is awesome! The $20 also includes all WOW New England locations, so I actually go sometimes to the Norwood or Peabody WOW if I am in the area. The facilities are always clean. There is constantly staff going around cleaning the floors and locker room. I have also seen staff cleaning machines, although I will admit, less frequently. Many of the classes are top notch. Jill’s Zumba class will absolutely kick your butt! Don’t be intimidated though, everyone is just there to have fun. I have also attended Zumba with Jackie, spin with Tanya, and some Sat morning torture with Craig. The instructors are really amazing! My favorite area is the Women’s Only because it’s a little quieter, and sometimes not as smelly. Not to mean, but I have been on treadmills in the main section next to some smelly dudes! I have added pictures of women’s. There are 5 treadmills, 3 ellipticals, some bikes, and lots of weights and weight machines. Keep in mind this is not a luxury facility. There is no towel service, no sauna. But if you want to get a good workout in at a great price, WOW is your destination!

I’m thinking about trying this workout because from all that I read, it seems perfect for what my goals are. Post-Workout Exercise has been shown to lengthen lifespan by as much as five years. A small new study suggests that moderate-intensity exercise may slow down the aging of cells. As humans get older and their cells divide over and over again, their telomeres—the protective caps on the end of chromosomes—get shorter. To see how exercise affects telomeres, researchers took a muscle biopsy and blood samples from 10 healthy people before and after a 45-minute ride on a stationary bicycle. They found that exercise increased levels of a molecule that protects telomeres, ultimately slowing how quickly they shorten over time. Exercise, then, appears to slow aging at the cellular level.
