Because of the added stress on my muscles from cardio, I tend to stick toward gaining strength, which tears down my muscles less than size gaining. I stuck with a Monday-Wednesday-Friday full day routine for nearly 10 years and just focused on getting stronger with each movement.
For my patients and clients, I like to keep very high repetition isolation work in someone’s routine for another 1-2 months after they have fulled recovered and are back to normal activity.
