Patients are often chronically sore and suffer from a parade of miscellaneous “unrelated” musculoskeletal problems that can go undiagnosed for years, even a lifetime. It’s possible that strength training is doomed to backfire with these patients. Or perhaps they need strength training more than anyone? But only with much greater caution than average, and probably much more than they are likely to suspect the need for.

A certified trainer should be able to help with developing exercises for the rest of the leg.

The reason why I grouped weak evidence to no evidence is that even if there was a potential beneficial effect, the effect is usually very low at most or it may work for pain but not actually the tendonitis. How often you wash your hair depends on your hair type, texture and personal preference — it’s okay to skip washing your hair after a workout. Thin, fine hair typically requires more frequent washing than thick, coarse hair. Shampoo chemicals do strip the hair, so it’s actually good to avoid washing your hair every day if possible. (This probably goes without saying, but that doesn’t apply to showering after your workout. Letting sweat accumulate after too long allows bacteria to build up on your skin and can cause breakouts.
